Member of Technical Staff (Software Engineer, Computer Growth)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own growth surfaces across the full funnel including activation, onboarding, SEO, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and paid upgrade moments
• Lead end-to-end experiments from hypothesis and instrumentation through implementation, analysis, and rollout
• Build applied AI systems that power growth, such as classifiers for high-intent segments and personalization for value discovery
• Launch vertical-specific experiences for students and enterprise organizations to drive adoption and revenue
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and Applied AI teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Full-stack engineering skills with comfort in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Python
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms (e.g., Eppo, Statsig, Optimizely)
• Proficiency with SQL and data-informed decision-making
• Strong product judgment and ownership instincts
• Genuine interest in AI products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on a growth, activation, or retention team at a consumer or PLG SaaS company
• Experience training and productionizing ML models for product surfaces
• Experience with SEO, lifecycle marketing tooling, or paid acquisition
• Familiarity with subscription billing, paywalls, or usage-based products
• Experience shipping for both consumer and enterprise audiences
• Experience in fast-growing startup environments
• Familiarity with mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, etc.) and app store guidelines
