Member of Technical Staff (Software Engineer, Agentic Enterprise)

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and execute on high-potential opportunities to make Perplexity Computer transformative for every team
• Build core systems that bring agentic opportunities within reach
• Develop empathy for technical and business teams to collaborate on harnessing AI in new ways
• Engineer connectors, skills, and evaluation infrastructure to make knowledge stores and processes legible to Computer
• Translate internal usage friction and triumphs into core product and platform improvements
• Collaborate with PM, Design, Data Science, Sales, and Enterprise customers to turn process needs into reliable product experiences

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency with Python
• Experience with TypeScript, Go, or other languages
• Daily use of AI models and strong knowledge of the latest frontier
• Broad working knowledge of the modern AI agent stack (agents, connectors, context engineering, and evals)
• Strong product judgment to simplify agent user experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with building platforms for enterprise or internal users
• Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and its applications
