Member of Technical Staff (Software Engineer, Agent Capabilities)

Responsibilities

• Investigate emerging frontier-model behaviors and identify opportunities to turn them into product capabilities
• Build and evolve Skills, Workflows, and Artifacts into a coherent ecosystem
• Own capabilities end-to-end, from user-facing products and interfaces to backend services, evaluation, data models, and production operations
• Build scalable platform infrastructure and backend systems that power capability execution and lifecycle management
• Collaborate with PM, Design, Data Science, Sales, and Research to translate complex agent behaviors into reliable product experiences
• Set technical direction on ambiguous problems through design reviews and mentorship

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals including user-facing products and scalable distributed systems
• Strong product judgment and ability to turn vague needs into simple systems
• Experience designing abstractions, platforms, or reusable systems
• Ability to make data-informed decisions using metrics and evaluations
• Genuine interest in frontier AI capabilities and agent systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building agentic systems such as tool calling or autonomous task execution
• Experience building developer platforms, SDKs, or plugin systems
• Experience with evaluation, benchmarking, or quality systems for ML/LLM-powered products
• Experience at a fast-growing startup
