Responsibilities

• Advance model capabilities through novel approaches to document understanding, clause extraction, reasoning, and negotiation
• Design and run experiments to evaluate new architectures, prompting strategies, fine-tuning, and retrieval methods
• Bridge research and production by translating insights into scalable, production-ready systems
• Develop benchmarks, datasets, and evaluation frameworks to measure model performance
• Stay at the frontier of LLMs and applied AI to incorporate new methods into the platform
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and legal teams

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in AI research, machine learning, or applied NLP
• Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical methods
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, transformers, and modern NLP techniques
• Experience running rigorous experiments and evaluating model performance
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate ambiguity into research directions
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration
