Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack product features across Mandolin’s core modules
• Collaborate closely with Product to scope requirements and translate them into technical implementations
• Own projects end-to-end including backend services, APIs, data flows, and front-end interfaces
• Establish engineering patterns and best practices for quality, maintainability, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
• Debug, test, and continuously improve systems for healthcare-critical environments
• Work alongside PMs and implementation teams to stay close to customer needs

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency with modern web frameworks like React or Next.js
• Proficiency with backend services such as Node.js, Python, or Go
• Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with databases
• Track record of owning projects end-to-end in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills and a product-minded approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in early-stage startups (0 to 1)
• Background in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, and monitoring tools
• Exposure to AI-driven products or agentic systems
