Responsibilities

• Research and develop new pretraining methodologies for biological world models.
• Study scaling behavior and training dynamics across model size and data composition.
• Design data curricula, sampling strategies, and evaluation suites for pretraining progress.

Requirements

• Strong track record in ML research or engineering, specifically in large-scale model training.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Experience working in distributed or high-performance computing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience training or analyzing frontier foundation models.
• Strong grasp of probability, statistics, and optimization.
• Background in applied math, physics, or computational biology.
