Responsibilities

• Work on critical post-training and reinforcement learning challenges including reward modeling and preference optimization (RLHF/DPO)
• Apply RL to improve model reasoning, truthfulness, and real-world capabilities
• Tackle the most critical alignment and post-training problems at any given time

Requirements

• Belief that truth-seeking AI is the most important problem
• Obsession with building useful models through post-training and RL techniques
• Power user of AI models eager to push boundaries with RL and alignment methods
• Thrives in meritocratic environments and takes pride in work

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working on post-training, RLHF, or training models used by millions
