Member of Technical Staff, Networking

Responsibilities

• Lead full life cycle software development from architecture through development, release, and maintenance
• Design, code, and debug high-performance networking systems using C and Python
• Perform requirements analysis and specification for the FlashBlade Networking product area
• Integrate new features with existing infrastructure through cross-team development
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality to ensure high availability

Requirements

• 4-7+ years of experience developing on Linux or other *NIX variants at a product company
• Significant domain knowledge of the networking stack
• Experience with IPv4 and IPv6 networking protocols
• Hands-on experience with Broadcom SDK
• Experience in API design, distributed systems, or device drivers
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and algorithmic skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux Kernel or device driver development
• Familiarity with modern switch silicon packet processing (ECMP, QoS, Packet filtering, etc.)
• Prior experience in the storage industry
