Modus Audit is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners to invest in and modernize accounting firms using Agentic AI. We streamline financial audits from the ground up, partnering with firms to build and deploy agents at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents that parse documents, extract entities, cross-check financials, and complete workflows end-to-end
• Work across the stack including Python backends, vector stores, browser-based agents, and internal tools
• Iterate quickly on v1 products and compound wins through fast shipping
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI frameworks, tools, and best practices
• Help shape the engineering culture and own real outcomes with design partners

Requirements

• Strong builder instincts and end-to-end ownership
• Track record of shipping AI, infrastructure, or backend features quickly
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience or interest in LLMs, Agent Frameworks, RAG, browser automation, or document parsing
• Bias for action and ability to debug in production environments
