Member of Technical Staff - Linux Kernel - FlashArray

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of Linux and VMWare initiator stacks, including NVMeoF, FC-SCSI, and iSCSI.
• Architect enhancements for Fibre Channel and NIC driver stacks to improve Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior and junior engineers through code reviews and project guidance.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex system-level bugs using protocol analyzers and kernel debugging tools.
• Contribute performance enhancements and bug fixes back to the Linux upstream kernel community.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Linux/Unix kernel development and writing robust device drivers.
• Deep technical command of storage protocols such as NVMe (TCP, ROCE, FC) or SCSI (FCP, iSCSI).
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Expert-level system-level debugging skills and experience with performance analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering projects from conception to delivery.
