Member of Technical Staff, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-based solutions that meet business needs and work with application teams on service design
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure, including resource optimization and troubleshooting
• Manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform to automate provisioning and monitoring
• Collaborate with engineers to implement Kubernetes best practices and management tools
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to resolve incidents and conduct post-mortems
• Contribute to a positive work environment and cross-functional projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Strong experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters
• Mastery of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Argo CD
• Deep understanding of network architectures, software engineering, web technologies, SQL databases, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Go, or Bash
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Strong communication, analytical, and technical leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
• SOC2 and/or ISO27001 compliance and audit experience
• Experience working with security engineering and vulnerability management
