Member of Technical Staff, Foundation Models

Responsibilities

• Design and implement novel self-supervised learning methods for training foundation models
• Translate machine learning papers into production-ready code
• Build robust model evaluation frameworks
• Disseminate research results by co-authoring papers and abstracts
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists
• Co-mentor junior members of the team

Requirements

• PhD in machine learning or statistics
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
• Deep understanding of deep learning and self-supervised learning
• Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, and statistics
• Ability to drive research tasks to completion with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Publications in A* conferences such as ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, or CVPR
• Experience in survival analysis or multi-modal learning
• Experience in domain adaptation, causal inference, or model interpretability
• Background in computational pathology
