Member of Technical Staff- Firmware Development

Responsibilities

• Architect next-generation SSD firmware for DirectFlash Modules, focusing on NAND media management, wear-leveling, and error-correction algorithms.
• Drive hardware enablement by leading the bring-up and integration of cutting-edge NAND technologies and SSD controllers.
• Build and refine advanced firmware simulation and emulation environments to accelerate development and pre-silicon validation.
• Engineer sophisticated debug tools and log-forensics processes using C/C++ and Python to resolve complex system-level issues.
• Design and maintain internal development automation, including continuous integration (CI) and automated unit testing.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in SSD device firmware development.
• Deep understanding of NAND flash characteristics and media management layers.
• Advanced proficiency in C and C++ for embedded environments.
• Expertise in Python for automation, tooling, and scripting.
• Proven experience with hardware bring-up, micro-controllers, or SoC architecture.
• Knowledge of low-level hardware-software interfaces such as NVMe and PCIe.
