Member of Technical Staff - Drive Qual

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end validation strategies for major domains including NAND reliability, PCIe Gen6, and OCP compliance.
• Design and implement advanced automation frameworks and validation suites integrated with Jenkins CI pipelines.
• Lead deep-dive forensic investigations into system-level failures using NVMe/OCP logs and telemetry to identify root causes.
• Represent the Drive Qualification team in cross-functional forums to provide data-driven insights for firmware release readiness.
• Mentor senior engineers and conduct high-level code reviews to evolve prototypes into production-grade validation tools.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in SSD or firmware validation.
• Deep technical mastery of NVMe and PCIe protocols, including OCP specifications.
• Expert-level Python skills for building modular and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Experience managing large codebases within a Linux-heavy CI/CD environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of NAND fundamentals, including P/E cycling, wear-out, and read-disturb behavior.
• Proven track record of technical leadership in managing complex validation projects through the full lifecycle.
