Member of Technical Staff - Drive Qual

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver automated validation suites to stress-test PCIe, NVMe, and OCP compliance.
• Drive technical root-cause analysis for complex failures across firmware and system layers using telemetry and logs.
• Own and scale regression infrastructure to improve test repeatability and coverage for next-generation NAND technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to provide risk assessments and quality metrics.
• Develop custom validation tools and scripts in Python to automate drive-level behavior characterization.

Requirements

• Proficiency in PCIe and NVMe protocols.
• Strong understanding of SSD architecture and firmware/hardware interaction.
• Advanced programming capability in Python.
• Experience building or extending automated testing frameworks for embedded systems or storage products.
• Proven track record of debugging hardware/software interfaces and performing structured root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as LeCroy, DriveMaster, or OakGate.
