Member of Technical Staff (Data Scientist)

Responsibilities

• Accelerate the AI-native data workflow by turning existing processes into repeatable systems and scalable tools
• Build AI agents capable of conducting end-to-end data science analyses, including hypothesis formation and result interpretation
• Develop the semantic layer and retrieval infrastructure to make the data warehouse AI-readable
• Automate the data lifecycle through self-healing pipelines and automated dbt model generation
• Ship AI-powered experiment analysis tools to interpret A/B test results and provide recommendations
• Own the full lifecycle from LLM prototyping to production deployment and monitoring

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or a related role
• Strong product sense and understanding of user behavior drivers
• Deep SQL expertise and experience building data models in a warehouse
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and working with dbt
• Proficiency in Python for building and shipping production-ready tools and APIs
• Genuine passion for AI and experience building with LLMs, agents, or RAG systems
• Strong builder mentality with a focus on automation and fast iteration
• Ability to work autonomously and define a new functional roadmap

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake administration and optimization
• Background in AI agent frameworks
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B testing experiments
• Experience building internal CLI tools, Slack bots, or developer productivity tools
• Experience in early-stage startup environments
