Concourse builds AI agents for corporate finance teams. We connect core enterprise data sources and deploy AI agents that can analyze the data through natural language, deliver insights in seconds, and enable our customers to make better decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build Core Backend Systems: Develop and maintain backend features, APIs, and business logic that power our AI agents and user-facing applications.
• Own Integrations: Build integrations with ERPs, banks, CRMs, HRIS, payroll, billing systems, and other finance data sources.
• Create ETL Pipelines: Develop and maintain ETL processes that ensure smooth, reliable data flow from external systems into our database.
• Optimize Backend for Scale: Work with the AI team to ensure backend systems support high-volume AI queries with strong performance and reliability.
• Take Ownership of Product Components: Own large areas of the backend with a high degree of autonomy and an ownership mentality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of backend engineering experience delivering production systems and features
• Strong experience building REST APIs, working with databases, and developing backend services (TypeScript/Node.js preferred)
• Comfortable building integrations and reading API documentation quickly
• Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and moving data across siloed systems
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial systems (ERPs, billing, payroll, or other systems)
• Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Experience with ETL tools (Fivetran, Airbyte)
