About the role
About the Company
Complement builds AI that autonomously operates factories. We connect the fragmented systems inside a factory (ERP, MES, PLCs, spreadsheets, etc) into a unified data layer, then deploy AI agents that optimize decisions across the whole operation for profit. We are a team of seven with backgrounds from Neuralink, Apple, Tesla, and AWS, backed by First Round Capital.
Responsibilities
- Build AI systems that automatically connect to legacy data sources like ERPs, sensors, and spreadsheets to create a unified view of factory operations
- Run real-time simulations over the global factory state to balance demand, mitigate delays, and identify bottlenecks
- Embed with factory operators to map workflows and define interventions
- Design generative interfaces to make production legible and deliver clear recommendations
- Ship software to messy, dynamic environments across the entire abstraction stack
