Member of Technical Staff, Backend

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native microservices and integrate new features into Portworx products
• Focus on high-quality design, development, unit/functional testing, code reviews, and CI/CD
• Debug product and performance issues in large-scale clusters using AI tooling
• Collaborate with stakeholders to transition solutions from initial design to production
• Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, adapting to customer feedback and testing results
• Experiment with new technologies to innovate and push the state-of-the-art in data storage

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science
• 7+ years of experience in the design, development, and testing of enterprise products
• Proficiency in Golang
• Strong understanding of Microservice Architectures and Cloud Native platforms
• Expertise in designing microservices for distributed system architectures that scale to thousands of nodes
• Advanced debugging skills for navigating ambiguous problems in public/private cloud environments
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Ability to work in an onsite, open office environment in Bangalore
