Responsibilities

• Own products end-to-end from discovery and definition to implementation and launch
• Write production-grade TypeScript across the stack using React, Next.js, and Node.js
• Build and maintain internal tools to increase team velocity
• Ship features across external sites, webapps, and founder portals
• Craft polished UIs and contribute to the internal component library
• Integrate third-party APIs including auth, payments, and email
• Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, CI/CD, and reliability practices

Requirements

• Deep experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Product-minded builder capable of handling ambiguous problems
• Strong taste for UX/UI and ability to sketch lightweight wireframes
• High-agency, entrepreneurial, and self-driven mindset
• Proficiency with modern AI tools
• Must be based in NYC or willing to relocate to NYC (non-negotiable)

Preferred Qualifications

• Notable GitHub presence or open-source contributions
• Design-engineering portfolio showing polished UI and accessibility work
• Experience as a founder or early team member of a VC-backed startup
• Previous SWE experience at category-defining tech companies like Meta, Stripe, or OpenAI
• Exceptional signals in competitive gaming, mathematics, or physics
