Member of Technical Staff, AI-Optimized Memory Digital Design Engineer/Microarchitect

Responsibilities

• Translate architecture requirements into efficient, scalable microarchitectures that optimize system metrics
• Design, implement, and review SystemVerilog designs for memory systems architectures
• Perform synthesis and early analysis to estimate and optimize area, power, and timing (PPA)
• Compose and maintain clear microarchitecture documentation to align design intent across teams
• Drive technical decisions by evaluating tradeoffs across microarchitecture and implementation constraints

Requirements

• Strong experience in digital design and microarchitecture development
• Solid understanding of computer and memory system architecture and SoC-level behavior
• Experience with synthesis and early PPA estimation and optimization
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and high-level programming languages such as C/C++ or Python
• Ability to influence technical decisions through data-driven analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with memory interfaces and memory systems concepts like reliability and media management
• Experience connecting architecture and implementation by understanding RTL cost and feasibility
• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of industry experience delivering silicon-demonstrated memory systems or SoC hardware designs
