About the Company

Radical Numerics is an AI research lab building general biological intelligence. Their mission is to master the code of life to reduce human suffering, having created Evo and pioneered the field of generative genomics.

Responsibilities

• Adapt frontier AI models to biological tasks through fine-tuning, post-training, and architectural modifications
• Design and run experiments applying large models to genomics, protein biology, or cellular systems
• Develop evaluation pipelines and benchmarks for biological tasks to drive downstream biological impact

Requirements

• Strong background in machine learning and deep learning with large-scale generative architectures
• Experience applying ML models to biological data and challenging prediction tasks
• Proficiency in Python and ML tooling such as PyTorch or JAX

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with genomic or molecular sequence models like Evo or AlphaFold
• Background in ML for structural biology or biochemistry
• Experience scaling ML experiments across large GPU clusters
