About the role
Responsibilities
- Welcome members with warm greetings and provide quality service
- Process transactions while protecting member information and following company policies
- Conduct community outreach and partner location visits to promote Oportun services
- Build relationships with local businesses and assist potential members with applications
- Maintain store cleanliness and presentability
- Travel between designated work locations as needed
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Customer service, cashier, sales, or hospitality experience
- Outgoing, sales-focused personality
- Availability to work weekends and flexible rotating schedules
- Reliable and predictable attendance
- Ability to work outdoors year-round
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Basic computer and office equipment skills
