MedTech Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and update automated medication dispensing systems in clinical settings
• Replace hardware parts and perform software updates and calibrations
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine system checks
• Assist with the installation and implementation of new devices at customer locations
• Maintain and stock assigned parts and tools
• Respond to on-call service tickets within established Service Level Agreements (SLA)

Requirements

• Intermediate troubleshooting abilities in electronics, mechanics, and electromechanical systems
• Active driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for local travel
• Ability to lift up to 70 LBS and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and bending
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing, including meeting specific immunization requirements
• Availability for on-call shifts, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a military, computer, or complex electronics technician
• Experience supporting automation equipment in a healthcare or pharmacy setting
• A+ certification
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
