Médico/a Medicina Interna

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and curative medical services within the specialty of Internal Medicine.
• Manage the medical team, including shift planning, activity rotation, and staff motivation.
• Deliver clinical care to inpatients and in outpatient consultations, ensuring continuous patient follow-up.
• Coordinate activities with other hospital services to ensure seamless patient care.
• Ensure compliance with quality protocols and patient safety standards.
• Oversee the maintenance of unit equipment and manage the stock of pharmacy and medical materials.
• Supervise staff and collaborators in accordance with the Vithas Code of Conduct and Crime Prevention Model.

Requirements

• Specialist degree in Internal Medicine obtained via MIR.
• Proven experience in clinical care for both inpatients and outpatient settings.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare management and clinical quality standards.
• Ability to lead and coordinate medical teams effectively.
