Responsibilities

• Review and analyze the medical information and history of applicants using administrative systems and information exchange offices.
• Determine insurability based on current underwriting policies and evaluated medical risks.
• Register medical findings and conclusions to support statistical data generation and analysis.
• Ensure high-quality and timely processing of assigned medical underwriting tasks to maintain business profitability.

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine (Titulado).
• Valid professional license (Cédula profesional).
• Experience in medical underwriting (Life or Medical Expenses).
• Knowledge of insurance medicine and general policy conditions.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with administrative systems and medical claims or reimbursements.
