Medico/a

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based medical care and emergency services for patients with complex chronic pathologies in the Basque Country.
• Perform patient anamnesis, collecting data on symptoms, clinical history, and allergies.
• Conduct physical examinations and assess nutritional and psychological status.
• Perform global patient assessments by integrating clinical findings and nursing evaluations.
• Issue medical diagnoses and code them according to CIE10 standards.
• Develop and explain detailed treatment plans and care protocols to patients and caregivers.
• Manage patient discharge or coordinate referrals to reference hospitals via the emergency coordination center.
• Report relevant incidents to coordinators or hierarchical superiors.

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine and Surgery.
• Homologated foreign medical degree or a minimum of six months of professional experience.
