About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide medication reminders and assistance according to state regulations
- Administer medications as allowed by state guidelines
- Order and receive medication and coordinate with pharmacy
- Maintain resident records in digital platform including distribution and observations
- Perform regular room visits and safety checks
- Monitor resident safety and well-being and communicate changes to health leadership
- Audit rooms for self-administered medication compliance
- Respond to resident requests and emergency pull cords
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Medication certification as required by state guidelines
- Successful completion of ESL medication competency
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
