About the role
Responsibilities
- Communicate questions, concerns, or medication administration discrepancies to the Resident Care Director (RCD)
- Report any significant changes in a resident's mental or physical status to the RCD
- Document supervision of self-administration in the Medication Administration Record (MAR)
- Document and notify the RCD regarding the administration of PRN medications and their effects
- Assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation
Requirements
- Valid New Hampshire Medication Aide (MNA) license
- State Medication Technician License with demonstrated competency in drug administration
- Current Nursing Assistant certification or completion of a certified home health aide/homemaker training program
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)
- High School education preferred
