Medical Technician

Responsibilities

• Supervise client medication adherence and self-administration per physician orders
• Audit client charts and Medication Administration Records (MAR) in KIPU
• Conduct regular medication counts and coordinate with pharmacies for ordering and pickup
• Document patient care services in electronic medical records
• Monitor client behavior and provide 1:1 supervision for at-risk clients
• Take and record vital signs
• Perform light housekeeping tasks in detox houses to maintain safety
• Maintain staff shift logs and follow emergency procedures

Requirements

• Valid EMT, MA, or CNA certification
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to pass TB or X-Ray clearance
• Ability to pass a clean background check/livescan

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working with mental health or dual diagnosis
