Medical Support Specialist (Paramedic/EMT-P)

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing reviews
• Manage donor adverse events and medical emergencies according to established SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
• Support vaccination programs and manage employee health incidents in coordination with EHS
• Provide center-level support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current EMT-Paramedic license or certification in the state of assignment
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Basic IV therapy certification (meeting state requirements)
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
