About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Sydney-based medical support team, setting clinical standards and care quality
- Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex patient enquiries and high-risk clinical cases
- Embed empathy into the patient journey to ensure safety and support
- Work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and product teams to drive process improvements
- Provide clinical thought leadership through industry events, articles, and patient-centered content
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (AHPRA) with 5+ years of clinical or patient-facing experience
- Proven experience leading and managing clinical teams, including performance management
- Previous experience in a telehealth environment and with GLP-1 medications
- Strong clinical judgement and ability to handle high-risk escalations
- Excellent communication skills for sensitive clinical and non-clinical conversations
- Ability to speak in public and represent the company's clinical philosophy
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with offshore or distributed team operations
- Experience as a media contributor, health writer, or public health communicator
- Existing network in the Australian nursing or digital health community
