Medical Specialist or Clinical Chief of Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical, administrative, research, and teaching activities for the Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine Unit (UMSH)
• Manage elective and urgent patients requiring hyperbaric oxygen therapy
• Conduct diving fitness consultations for leisure and professional divers
• Provide 24/7 hyperbaric emergency care according to on-call schedules
• Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing education
• Engage in fundamental, clinical, or translational research projects in hyperbaric medicine
• Assist the unit head in medical supervision, unit management, and strategic policy development
• Implement and update clinical protocols and procedures

Requirements

• Federal medical degree or equivalent recognized by MEBEKO
• Specialist title in underwater and hyperbaric medicine (AFC) or equivalent
• Right to practice in the Canton of Geneva
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in multidisciplinary teams
• Interest and experience in teaching and research
• Interest and/or experience in management and administration
• Proficiency in English (oral and written) is an asset
