Medical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate sales of pharmaceuticals by making judgments based on pharmaceutical laws and regulations.
• Provide accurate medical information and medication guidance to customers to promote self-medication.
• Manage pharmaceutical product descriptions on the Amazon.co.jp website.
• Handle customer inquiries via telephone, including assessing symptoms and determining appropriate medication use.
• Manage side effect consultations and complaints, including reporting to PMDA when necessary.
• Support the safe and hygienic operation of the pharmaceutical logistics center.

Requirements

• Valid Pharmacist license.
• At least 6 months of professional work experience.
• Proficiency in Japanese.
• Basic PC skills for data entry and research while communicating with customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a drugstore or call center environment.
• Experience collaborating with different internal departments.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
• A positive attitude toward working in a diverse and inclusive culture.
