Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters, history, exam findings, and treatment plans in real-time
• Greet patients, collect health information, and assist with physical exams
• Administer prescribed treatments, including allergy/immunotherapy injections
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA
• Assist with skin testing, patch testing, and pulmonary function testing
• Manage EHR documentation, scheduling, and insurance paperwork
• Maintain clean and stocked exam and injection rooms
• Perform routine equipment sterilization and follow OSHA standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience
• Excellent computer literacy and typing abilities
• Proficiency in using EHR systems and medical software
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or training in medical assisting (CMA, RMA, or similar)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Fluency in Spanish
• Students pursuing careers in healthcare (medicine, nursing, PA, etc.)
