Medical Scribe

Responsibilities

• Transcribe patient medical reports and data accurately and thoroughly
• Document medical history, physician orders, and lab/test results
• Accompany physicians during patient visits to capture real-time information
• Maintain Hospitality Health ER’s guiding principles of care
• Assist physicians by carrying out orders efficiently and accurately
• Demonstrate initiative and self-direction in supporting providers
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director

Requirements

• 2 years of college in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
• Successful completion of clinical orientation and proven skills
• Commitment to ongoing education and training
• Customer service experience in high-volume, high-stress environments
• PRN (as needed) availability for a minimum of two 12-hour shifts per month, including rotating nights and weekends
• Ability to work unsupervised, take initiative, and collaborate effectively
