Responsibilities
- Transcribe patient medical reports and data for legible, thorough documentation
- Accompany physicians during patient encounters to record history, tests ordered, and lab results
- Carry out physician orders accurately and efficiently
- Communicate appropriately with patients, visitors, and co-workers
- Uphold the guiding principles of care for Hospitality Health ER
Requirements
- Two years of college education in a healthcare-related field preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Successful completion of clinical orientation
- Customer service experience in high-volume, high-stress environments
- Ability to work unsupervised, take initiative, and meet deadlines with attention to detail
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule including nights and weekends
