Medical Science Liaison/Senior Medical Science Liaison – Hematology/Oncology

Responsibilities

• Function as the primary point of contact in the field for Medical Deployment
• Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in oncology, specifically CTCL standards of care
• Develop and track key opinion leader (KOL) engagement plans and maintain long-term collaborative relationships
• Engage in medical and scientific exchange with the medical community, including advisory boards
• Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling and facilitate account/institution profiling
• Collaborate with commercial colleagues to ensure product strategic imperatives are represented
• Respond to and document unsolicited requests for information on clinical initiatives
• Represent the company at medical meetings and congresses
• Adhere to corporate SOPs and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) strongly preferred
• MSL: Minimum 2 years MSL experience with at least 1 year in Oncology
• Sr. MSL: Minimum 5 years Pharma experience and 3 years oncology experience
• Prior product launch experience required
• Ability to interpret and present scientific data to engage KOLs
• Ability to travel frequently (70%) with overnight stays

Preferred Qualifications

• Hematology/Oncology experience
• Working knowledge of NCCN guideline inclusion and payer systems
• Working knowledge of NCI Cooperative Groups and Oncology Research Consortiums
• Experience presenting to formulary and P&T committees
