About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, profile, and engage regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to build long-term professional relationships.
  • Implement regional medical plans and design medical initiatives consistent with central medical strategy.
  • Obtain and communicate KOL feedback to internal stakeholders to inform medical and brand strategies.
  • Develop and conduct non-promotional educational materials, lectures, and medical sessions for healthcare audiences.
  • Support clinical study initiatives, including Phase IV and HEOR studies, through site feasibility checks and investigator recommendations.
  • Provide medical expertise and training to internal teams regarding therapeutic area trends and product information.
  • Manage regional medical budgets and track expenditures effectively.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Medical or Life Science is required; Doctoral education is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical practice or a multinational pharmaceutical company, OR at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • For Senior MSL roles, a minimum of 2 years of prior MSL experience with a proven track record in a multinational pharmaceutical company is required.
  • Fundamental knowledge of clinical study methodology.
  • Fluent written business English and workable spoken English.
  • Ability to travel extensively, as this is a field-based role requiring >50% field time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical experience within relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Strong medical project management skills and the ability to manage complex tasks within set timeframes.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at a regional level.
