Medical Science Liaison/Senior Medical Science Liaison - Oncology - West

Responsibilities

• Function as the primary medical point of contact and scientific expert in the assigned geographic territory
• Engage in compliant, robust, and accurate scientific peer exchange with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) regarding ALK+ NSCLC therapies
• Develop and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with KOLs, healthcare practitioners, and professional societies
• Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling and facilitate account profiling to enhance understanding of patient care pathways
• Provide internal teams with clinical insights and feedback gathered from field interactions
• Represent the company at medical meetings, congresses, and advisory boards
• Adhere to all corporate SOPs and regulatory guidelines governing scientific interactions

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA)
• 2+ years of MSL experience (for MSL role) or 5+ years of pharma experience with 3+ years of MSL experience (for Senior MSL role)
• Proven experience in Oncology, rare disease, or immunology
• Prior experience with product launches
• Ability to travel up to 70% including overnight stays
• Strong ability to interpret and present complex scientific data to KOLs and payers

Preferred Qualifications

• Targeted therapy experience
• Working knowledge of standards of care for ALK+ NSCLC
• Experience sharing scientific content with payer systems
• Knowledge of NCI Cooperative Groups and Oncology Research Consortiums
