Medical Science Liaison - Oncology

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with oncologists, pharmacists, and key stakeholders across the UAE
• Deliver accurate, evidence-based scientific presentations on oncology therapies and biosimilars
• Act as a scientific expert to respond to unsolicited medical inquiries and support medical education initiatives
• Identify and map Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and emerging experts within oncology centers
• Provide scientific support for formulary inclusion, tenders, and payer discussions
• Capture and analyze field insights regarding prescribing trends and the competitive landscape
• Ensure all activities comply with UAE regulations, company SOPs, and pharmacovigilance requirements

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or MSc Pharmacy)
• 3–5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically within Medical Affairs or as an MSL
• Proven scientific expertise in oncology
• Essential experience working within the UAE market
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical research principles
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel within the UAE

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with biosimilars
• Specific experience in Bone metastases or Bone Loss
• Exposure to UAE tender and formulary processes
