Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Rheumatology

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain expertise in the company’s rheumatology pipeline, disease biology, and evolving treatment landscape
• Serve as a trusted scientific resource for internal colleagues and external stakeholders
• Partner across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial to align strategies
• Identify opportunities for scientific communication, including publications and advisory programs
• Establish and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical specialists in rheumatology
• Facilitate non-promotional scientific exchange on disease awareness and investigational therapies
• Engage investigators and clinical trial sites to support enrollment and research collaboration
• Provide timely, compliant responses to medical and scientific inquiries

Requirements

• Strong scientific acumen and ability to translate complex data
• Excellent relationship-building skills with healthcare providers
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical trial operations and site engagement
• Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare environment
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Willingness to travel extensively (50-70%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO)
• 3+ years of MSL or equivalent field-based medical affairs experience
• Prior MSL experience in Sjogren’s Disease
• Knowledge of medical and regulatory standards for HCP interactions
