Medical Science Liaison - Hematology

Responsibilities

• Communicate complex, cutting-edge scientific information and research concepts to Hematology healthcare decision-makers and academic medical centers
• Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision-makers
• Identify and train members of the Amgen speakers’ bureau to ensure they are updated on new data
• Respond to requests for investigator-sponsored research proposals and support Amgen-sponsored research
• Provide scientific insights based on field interactions with healthcare thought leaders to internal Amgen partners
• Cultivate scientific relationships between Amgen and Fellows in training
• Lead or participate in committees and project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics

Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O.
• 3 or more years of experience in a medically related field, including clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research
• Current experience in Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company
• Hematology therapeutic area expertise
