Medical Science Liaison

Responsibilities

• Foster and nurture scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare practitioners (HCPs)
• Provide proactive scientific education for in-line products both virtually and in person
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information in compliance with US healthcare laws
• Identify and communicate medical/scientific insights and trends to internal stakeholders
• Represent the company at medical and scientific conferences
• Deliver medical and scientific presentations to physicians, nurses, and clinic staff
• Maintain clinical and technical expertise in the HIV therapeutic space

Requirements

• Graduate degree in a relevant clinical or pharmaceutical field
• BSc from an accredited institution plus one of the following: Advanced science/clinical degree (PharmD, M.D., DO, Ph.D., MSN, PA-C) with 1+ years experience, or Master's degree in health sciences with 3+ years experience, or BSc/BSN with MBA and 5+ years experience
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
• Strong professional communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to interpret expert insights and share them cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of MSL experience for Senior hMSL roles
• 0–3 years of experience in pharma/biotech or relevant clinical/research background for hMSL roles
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for scientific engagement
