About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leading researchers and practitioners with precise scientific and clinical knowledge to address clinical care gaps.
- Act as a primary interface between Lilly Medical and Scientific/Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs) to facilitate scientific exchange.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable clinical insights to internal Lilly Medical and cross-functional teams.
- Partner with clinical development to support studies, site identification, and recruitment to accelerate the pipeline.
- Implement strategic territory plans using analytical tools to prioritize engagement with key experts.
- Execute all activities compliantly, adhering to all internal and external governing requirements and laws.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) is required.
- Minimum of two years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience is desired.
- Strong scientific and clinical acumen with the ability to communicate complex content clearly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including potential weekend commitments.
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills for professional relationship building.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a field-based working environment.
- Familiarity with health systems, academic communities, and medical research processes.
- Experience in cardiometabolic health or neuroscience-related therapeutic areas.
- Proficiency in using digital platforms to engage healthcare professionals virtually.
