About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage with healthcare stakeholders to communicate clinical and scientific data to advance the scientific platform.
- Educate payers, providers, and key stakeholders on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data.
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries in compliance with MSL standards.
- Provide field observations and scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
- Execute scientific engagement plans and develop local territory R&D tactics.
- Support Amgen-sponsored research and serve as a study lead or liaison for potential investigators.
- Lead or participate in project teams and congress activities aligned with medical strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to support MSL value propositions.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree (e.g., Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O.).
- Or, a Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
- Or, a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiovascular expertise, specifically in lipids.
- 5+ years of industry experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs within biotech or pharmaceutical companies.
- 5+ years of experience focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
