About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a field-based scientific expert on argenx’s products, clinical trials, and relevant disease areas.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key external scientific thought leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver high-quality scientific and medical education to external stakeholders in compliance with medical strategy.
  • Generate and disseminate actionable medical insights to internal teams to drive organizational strategy.
  • Support the development and implementation of Strategic Territory Plans to advance Medical Affairs objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with local and global teams to ensure patient-focused operations.
  • Identify potential high-impact medical research projects and publication opportunities.

Requirements

  • Scientific, healthcare, or medical degree (MS, PharmD, PhD, MD, RN, or PA).
  • Significant field-based experience in biopharmaceutical medical affairs.
  • Fluency in both English and Portuguese.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical experience in neurology, immunology, or rare diseases.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate medical literature and translate insights into clinical practice.
  • Strong influencing and project management skills.
