About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage with healthcare partners to communicate clinical and scientific data to advance the scientific platform
- Educate payers, providers, and key partners on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries in compliance with MSL standards
- Provide field observations and scientific insights to internal collaborators
- Implement scientific engagement plans and local medical affairs plans
- Support Amgen-sponsored research and serve as a study lead when necessary
- Liaise with potential investigators in non-sponsored clinical research
- Lead or participate in project teams supporting MSL strategies and congress activities
Requirements
- Doctorate degree, OR Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO
- Two years of experience in scientific or medical affairs within biotech or pharma
- Three or more years of clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research experience
- Expertise in Rare Disease therapeutic areas
