About the role
Responsibilities
- Network and partner with medical thought leaders, academic institutions, and healthcare decision makers
- Communicate scientific/medical information and product value to the medical community and internal audiences
- Identify potential new speakers and provide training on scientific content for external speaker programs
- Participate in national and regional scientific conferences to support medical strategy and monitor clinical trends
- Evaluate external clinical research collaboration opportunities and facilitate investigator-initiated trials
- Monitor the competitive environment for advances in therapeutic areas and provide feedback to leadership
Requirements
- Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
- Ability to travel up to 60% for territory management and conference attendance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new business applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O.
- Two years of proven experience in scientific or medical affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to network
