Medical Review Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform scientific review, fact-checking, and medical approval of promotional and medical materials to ensure compliance with local laws and industry codes
• Act as a subject matter expert and single point of contact for Medical Review to enable efficient delivery of promotional and medical-to-medical objectives
• Provide solution-focused feedback and recommendations to material owners to ensure appropriate use of medicines and regulatory compliance
• Partner with Medical and Marketing stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities for service and operational improvements
• Manage in-country metrics focused on medical review utilization and performance to develop strategic recommendations for leadership
• Support local inspections, audits, and the handling of complaints related to promotional materials
• Organize training sessions on regulatory requirements and promotional material standards for relevant colleagues

Requirements

• Graduate, Post-graduate, or PhD degree in life sciences
• 4+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in medical writing or medical review
• Proven experience working within a pharmaceutical company, biotech firm, or CRO
• Strong knowledge of EMA and AEMPS regulations, as well as global guidance such as EFPIA and ICH
• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to verify scientific claims against references
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stringent timelines independently
